08/15/2001 Entry: "Darrel's Birthday"

Today was Darrel's birthday -- he is now of the age of 23. I think. Anyway, I got him a funny card.
I went swimming today -- I lasted all of one hour at the pool doing laps, but oh, my arms were so tired. My legs were so tired. It was ... fun, but really exhausting.

Work was good... I got to see Anna, but it was only brief. Meanwhile, Another girl was poking me, tickling me... I have no clue what it must mean.
I also purchased a book by Robertson Davies. It seems rather... complicated, in some ways OVER complicated english, but the story I know so far is only twelve pages, and my opinion is not yet valid.
