08/21/2001 Entry: "Position Opened at Computer Avenue"

Yay,
Today, I checked the Job Bank, and there is a position for Junior Computer Technician open at Computer Avenue. Computer Avenue is where I go to get all my parts, so this job would be rather fun. It's full-time days, Monday to Friday, and salary/wage is negotiable (apparently).
I've been trying to get a hold of references, though...

Randy Hirose, my instructor, wasn't available at the college, so I called his home phone. He wasn't around, and is daughter said it generally wouldn't be a problem to have his home phone on my resume as a reference. Though, it would be best to talk to him personally about it.
I also called Jerret Bartley, from when I did technician work there. I can probably use him as a reference, though it may not be a good one.
I called Chris Driscoll, and his phone number turned into a fax/modem. I'll have to get about changing that too.

NO WONDER I'VE HAD DIFFICUTILES GETTING A JOB -- MY EMPLOYERS COULDN'T GET A HOLD OF MY REFERENCES!!!

Now I know what happened with MTS... grrrr....
