09/03/2001 Entry: "Val's On A Trip"

Hmm..

Val had to go for a trip today. She's off to Kenora maybe, perhaps further. I think she needs to relax and get away from it all for a bit. Which I can appreciate. I'm going to worry so much though, and I need to find something to get my mind off of it. But I don't know if I want to get my mind off of it...

I do, however, feel a lot better about it than I did yesterday when she was going to decide to leave on a trip. That was spur of the moment, and I was so determined to go with her. Just to be there with her. Well, her leaving yesterday was going to be the plan, but she had to go help a friend. And then had to stop at her parents and by that time it would have been too late to leave.

I helped a friend of mine -- she was sad because of a few issues.

I wished it was Val that I was comforting last night.

I'm listening to my Smashing Pumpkins CD. Billy Corgan is the epitomy of bittersweet.
