09/07/2001 Entry: "Better Day"

Hey,
I was going to write in my journal earlier. I had come home from work early, I was so worried, because Val had checked herself out of the Kenora hospital. Then, she found herself with a traffic violation and back into the Dryden hospital (still not physically hurt). But... if I'd of written about that, the journal entry would be sad. But it's not so sad, because VAL called me!!

Val is now in a hotel in... oh my, I forget. Most important, I think she's had the chance to relax for the first time on her trip. We talked a lot, shared a bit, and enjoyed each other's perpetual company.
Her and I are getting closer and closer, even though she's travelling further and further. But, I think the next trip she makes will be closer to home, closer to me.
