09/24/2001 Entry: "No Trade"

I got my system back from Laptop Central. When I brought it in on Friday, they hadn't taken a look at it all day -- so my system was just in their shop, busy being idle. I called a few times Friday, and by the end of the day, they still hadn't taken a look at it. Same story Saturday too, though the owner said he'd take a look at it after closing, Saturday.

I had a great time with Val and her friend at the Forks saturday evening... and received nice val-kisses. Sunday I went to church, which I enjoyed very much.
Monday (today), I went to Laptop Central right when it opened. They STILL hadn't taken a look at it (a direct lie to me, from the owner), so I waited in the shop for an hour. At that time, they said that it wouldn't be worth it to THEM to buy my system, and trade it in for a laptop which is at least 233MHz. So, to them I say :P.
I'm going to meet up with Val today, as well as go to a job interview. I hope it all works out.
