10/25/2001 Entry: "Long Week"

Wow... It's been nearly forever since I updated this. Well... a few days. Well, anyway, Tuesday was a VERY good day for Val and I. We're certainly back on a nice comfortable rhythm which makes us both happy. I attribute it to Val's GREAT counselling session on Monday. It was three hours long, but nothing but GREATNESS came of it.

On Tuesday, we went to see her pastor, Darnell. I took a look at his broken computer, determined that he needs a new hard drive and set off in search for one Wednesday. Tuesday also, we went to Val's parent's place, stayed there a bit for a little dinner, went to see an extraordinary man, Mr. Ben Eidse. We talked a bit, went to see Val's grandmother, back to Mr. Eidse's, back to Val's parents place, and then driving home.
On Wednesday, I looked near and far for a smaller hard drive, to no avail. I decided I'd sell him one of mine, instead of buying used. Val and I also had a nice time, though somewhat short, together. Short, but sweet.
And, Wednesday evening, I got a call from Drake International. It seems I'll be going in Tuesday (the 30th) morning to see about a job offer, better than what I have now. I'm totally going for it!!
Today should be good too!
