10/28/2001 Entry: "Didn't Go To Church"

Hrm...
It took me only until now to fix everything. The webLog wasn't displaying, nor was the background images to many of the pages. It's fixed.
Much has happened, generally. Val and I had a great day Friday, with Janell. We actually came to Josh & Jo-Ann's party.
Saturday was generally uneventful. Val did visit for a bit, and then had to run a few errands. We talked on the phone Saturday night.
Today, I didn't go to chuch. Just... there is some guy there, who I don't feel comfortable with. I'll talk to the pastor about it. I am most certainly over-reacting or something.

GOD is quiet lately. I haven't really been talking to Him either. Oh, I did on Thursday, and Friday as well. I had a job interview with Canada Post on Friday. It was step one of a three step process. Step one was to ensure I can type thirty words-per-minute, with no more than 5% error. At the test, I typed 61 WPM, with less than 1% error. So, *smile* Step two is on Monday, a general interview, as well as some time to listen in on a few calls on the actuall call centre floor. Tuesday, I go into Drake International, to interview for an outbound telesolicitation positiong. Basically, asking the United States who they will choose (or who they have already chosen??) for their utility providers. BUT, I can, at any time, walk into Ipsos-Reid and start working there, as though I never left. So unless the hours scheduled with the Drake International position, I'd rather go to Ipsos-Reid.

Of course, I'd most rather work at Canada Post (as a Customer Support Analyst). I think it should be a lot more rewarding.

Val and I are finding a "leveling-off" rhythm. Sort of in the middle of complete bliss and responsible time apart. I'm taking it... as a different kind of feeling, but should grow to accept it. I'm being given plenty of time now for praise and worship -- I should make use of it.

I'm fasting today, and plan to do a lot of reading, as a replacement for not going to church.
