I was glad I found this article on ChristianityToday.Com. It explains some of the more obvious questions about God and His need for us. Questions asked by a recent Atheist turned Christian. It also discusses evolution a little bit as well.

Today is Day Eight that Valerie has been gone. I miss her a lot, and her absence only deepens my love and devotion for her. Is that much like how God is? Jesus had said that He had to leave, and said, "Where I am going, you cannot follow now, but you will follow later." (John 13:36) Actually, He says this many times during His Last Days. Simon Peter declared he would lay his life on the line for Jesus, that His deciples loved Him so much, that they wanted to follow him now. But Jesus had to go away, not only to fulfill the scriptures, but "to prepare a place for you." How great, then, is that?
