12/04/2001 Entry: "Letter #2 from Val"
Yay! I got another set of letters from Val today! She's doing ... well... I think she's doing good. I'm not entirely confident that she is getting the best Guelph can offer, but her attitude has certainly improved. I still worry that she sleeps so much.
Anyway, wanted to add this link about Microsoft and the Macintosh platform, a topic re-hashed millions upon millions of times.
I'm playing around with Basilisk II, the Macintosh 68k Emulator for Windows NT (XP, in my case). I've put in Mac OS 8.1, and browse the 'net with Internet Explorer 4.0, send and receive e-mail with Outlook Express 4.0 or Eudora Lite 3.1 (whichever tickles my fancy at the time), and am dead-set on finding a 68k build of the HotLine client. Woe is me that I cannot find one.
I start a job tomorrow. It is a part-time, inbound call-centre position with the same company who offered me a job waaay long ago (early November-ish). I should really do much better with this position, being inbound and all. Outbound Selling is not just something I hate, but it is something I plainly cannot do. Inbound is always fun.
