02/23/2002 Entry: "Val Party"

I GOT A LIBRARY CARD!! Hehe, I paid my over-due fines I accumulated from 1995. That felt weird...

Last night was the party Val had scheduled. It was unfortunate that not more of her friends showed up than what was expected (two of her friends, myself, and another good friend of her's), but it was happy regardless.

We spent a lot of time at Grapes, starting out with just coffee's, then some dinner, then some drinks and good company. We left there, and decided to check out a movie, "John Q". We stopped at The Olive Garden first, and picked up one of the waiters there. We had a lot of fun. He ordered us free "stix", so that management wouldn't think they were really Breadsticks. We tricked them!!

After this, we saw the movie. I enjoyed it, as did Val and her friend.

We then went to the Viscount Gort, where Ryan (the waiter from The Olive Garden) was waiting for us. But, we caught him on the way out -- he was ready to go home. So much for that idea.

We instead went downtown -- Val wanted to show us Purple City. Val is such a nut. If you don't know what Purple City is, you're not missing out on much.

Anyway... that was my day. I am confident in my feelings towards Val, and I get good feelings from her. I want to her to be sure of us, though.
