11/23/2002 Entry: "Zero Gravity Issues"
Hey all,
Follow up to the ZG Situation: They are going to STAY IN BUSINESS, but with only four employees for now, to keep things trim but operational, so that ongoing discussions regarding VERY INTERESTED investors continue. These four do not include me, but I may be signed back on once an investor is secure.
This is good news. I think I'm going to collect E.I. for a bit, as well as follow up on a promise I made with God...
And, Val and I share agape. And I am SO HAPPY and Praise God all of my days! More on this another day, but click on More.
... At our church's outreach centre, Siloam Mission, I spent a full day there one time serving the homeless and down-and-out. It was great, I could really feel the Spirit of God moving across the room and reaching those who needed to be reached. It was an incredible feeling. However, due to the fact that I work 8-5 weekdays at ZG, Siloam Mission is only open 9:30-4:30, so I couldn't make it there weekdays. They are also open Saturdays, but Friday and Saturday I go to see my son (his birthday was recently, he's one year old now. visit his happy birthday page here.
Anyway, quoth I to John Mohan, one of the directors of Siloam Mission and a really strong Christian man, "Pray that I lose my job, so that I could spend more time here."
I was half serious... well, it turns out the day after, Tuesday, we found out we were going to be out of business at ZG. Talk about irony. Or the work of God?
I'll spend some time at Siloam Mission, as much as E.I. will allow me (which is nearly nill... or maybe at least one sitting a day)
