10/16/2003 Entry: "iTunes for Windows"

Hey,

Just when I thought that iTunes 4 was pretty darn neat on a Mac, iTunes is now available for Windows 2000 and XP, and is cool as well. (minus the w, add an h).

Be sure to check it out, download it if you can. It's made my life easier, organizing nearly 4gb of imported music from CD's.

The great thing about iTunes, is that you can organize your list, and alter what it is that you will be hearing to on-the-fly. See that "Seach" area at the top? Type in a keyword, for example, part of the artists' name, or maybe the genre ("dance" or "CCM" or whatever), or whatever, and iTunes will trim down the list to what it is you searched for. You can also 'rate' your songs with just one click, and play only those songs you want to hear.

You can also play "most popular songs" you've heard before, as well as "songs I've never heard yet."

And importing your music is a breeze too!

iTunes for Windows can only be a good thing... i hope there aren't reports of 'crashes' and whatnot...
