10/12/2004 Entry: "The End of the Melissa Story"

Well, Melissa is now gone. To school out east. No longer works here.
And the great big farce is, that she was seeing someone for the longest time. Nothing serious, but ... she was seeing someone, and decided not to hurt me, and told Grace (the lady setting us up at one point), to tell me this, *after* she had left.
I wish I had known sooner, then the effort would not have been wasted.

But... it seems Melissa has a replacement, and some limnologist is going to charm me again.

I don't know her name, and she seems younger than melissa, maybe even younger than me. But her hair... my GOD, her hair is beautiful.
