12/03/2004 Entry: "Open House #2"
So the ETL Open House was last night, it was my second with the company. I was less of a lush as I was last year, and proud of it. It was a good time, there was no melissa, but there was heather so it was good company.
In other news, the Merchants of Deception book is available for free download. More information in the "More" text.
I'm registering with my business this Sunday.
Merchants of Deception is the story of how one guy was duped by Amway/Quixtar, and he hopes to discredit the company. However, the only thing he has suceeded in doing is 1. Prove that going diamond is not a dream, it's a reality, 2. When you get stuck into buying tools, those represent most of your losses and 3. You really should be careful when in business, and make sure your rights are respected -- if you put too too much faith in the people who set you up in business, and not God alone, your perceptions are altered.
With God, all things are possible. When you're in business, and someone tells you about this, and you learn it, and you receive it... repeat it. Repeat, repeat, repeat. Hopefully, the person giving you this knowledge doesn't take it away, by telling you something that contradicts the first knowledge.
With God, all things are possible. Make sure you keep leaning on God with this business; He can take it. He wants to know what you want to do. He can help you; depend on him.
