I've been able to synchronize my camera with iPhoto this weekend. It works out really neat. But because the Finepix 2650 does not have onboard memory (only via xD card), iPhoto does not recognize it for the camera that it is, but as a USB Storage Device (which is just as fine, all the photos with camera-specific info like flash=on or off, exposure settings, etc, are imported).
Same deal with the PC, but I need to 1. install software on the PC for the right drivers, and 2. iPhoto is just too neat to be possible on the PC.
So Yeah, I'll keep the camera, and maybe challenge myself to take better photos, and learn how to get rid of the stupid dark photos I keep taking. [more]

So I got the Fuji Finepix 2650 digital camera. 2.0MP, 3x optical zoom and 2.5 digital zoom, xD memory card format (read: faster, lower power, higher capacity up to 512mb so far). The difference between this and simliar cameras by Fuji (like the 2600z and A205), so far as I can tell, are that it has web-cam capabilities, and the xD memory card format. Battery life is nicer.
