07/26/2004 Entry: "Lakeshore Bible Camp 2004"
So I finished one week of Camp Counsellor at our Lakeshore Bible Camp. Wooo!
Our age group was age 11 - 15 (Grades 6 - 9). There were 26 children (12 boys, 14 girls). 7 of the boys were mine - a quiet, reserved group of kids, intellectuals and God-fearing. 5 other boys were rough, fighters, strong, rebellious. They were with another guy, with a similar testimony to those of his kids.
In addition to Camp Counsellor, I led the Animation Skills classes, two a day. We did some really impressive stuff, which I hope to show off here soon.
Other counsellors were Audrey (from my Church), Kathleen (from a Mennonite Church), and Melissa (from Love'N'Care Ministries, not the ETL Mel). They were the counsellors for the girls cabins.
The guy counsellors were Filipé (for the 5 rough kids), and James (me, for the 7 quiet kids).
I taught Animation, Melissa and Filipé did canoeing, Kathleen did Archery, Audrey and another church lady did Crafts, and Mark Elliot did Drama.
Anyway, if that wasn't a boring entry, I dunno what else to tell you!
