Waahoo!
I have been made a permanent part of the Envirotest Laboratories team; this entitles me to a few things, I'm actually not quite sure exactly what, but one thing I am sure of: job security. Neat stuff. I'm happy. Don says it's the beginnings of blessings in my life; after a season of turbulence.
Lots of tough words to spell in this one; I'm glad I have an as-you-type spellchecker, even when on the web, thanks to Mac OS X. [more]

So I went to Val's social today. It was a jolly good time, I danced a few, drank a few, flirted a bit. It's so good to see her so happy, and her soon-to-be husband is an extraordinary man, I would never have guessed, but knew that Val would find the best out there, and she has.
But weird thing, while I was on my way. Very ironic, in fact:
