Sigh...
Melissa's vacation was so good, and it felt like a nice fit, a nice niche for her, to be in Nova Scotia. Now that she's back in Winnipeg, she is reminded of much of what she does not like in her life.
So she's decided to leave. For Nova Scotia. By September.
I don't know where that leaves me, but alone. [more]

I met Irvin for the second time, today. The first time I met this dude, he was a little more sober and a little more sharper, but now he's drunk on ... i'm not sure what. Can't be beer, it didn't smell like it. I guided him to Coffee Time, and got him a coffee, black, and a donut. Spent some time with him, but not as much as I would have.
Which leads me to wonder: if Jesus were here, would he be providing a service to those on the streets, or spending time with them, one on one? [more]
