So the christmas party was today, and dispite all odds and 12 gin and limejuice drinks, I was still perfectly sober and only somewhat enjoying myself. It was great with Melissa; she was a little tipsy and as shy as she is, the drink always helps that situation. But me not being drunk kept me a little shy.
I did get a warm tight hug before she left, however, but she did get a ride home with a couple of guys, and my old friend Jealousy, whom hadn't been in my life since Val, came by a little, but Jesus kicked his butt.
I'm praying for her safety. I feel more confident to ask her out to coffee though!
