Mel and I had a talk. Deep Talk.
Wow. [more]I was on my way to collect money for the David Bowie ticket from Chrystal when plans change (Need ticket before money instead you see.) so I stopped by my old school, Cecil Rhodes. Wow has the place ever changed, yet oddly the same. The staff is mostly new, but Mr. Duncan the principal is still the same, Mrs. Guzzi my beloved french teacher still works there, and I was instantly recognized by an old Favorite teacher of mine, Mr. Verdnick. We had a good talk.

Over the past weekend, I've learned a few things from God.
I was doing my taxes; turns out I will not receive the huge return I was expecting. Actually, it will be quite little in comparison to previous years. I was counting on a big return to clear up some debt and set a self-running bill-payment system used by a friend of mine. Nope, won't work.
God taught me to rely on HIM and His work of new creation in me, and not on what the world promised to give me. [more]
