I thought this article at OSOpinion was worth reading, entitled, Should OS X and Linux Fight or Join Forces?. I just had to add this. It's quite interesting. [more]

Dreaming of Dad

For the first time since the death of my father nearly seven years ago, I had a dream about him, both last night and the night before.
Both of them were calm, warm, soothing dreams. The first one, it was me and him in an unidentifiable room (no colour no markings), just talking. The second one, him and I were at Salsbury House talking over coffee... [more]

Moving Soon

Yay, I'm moving soon, out of this apartment and then into a friend's place. Soon after that, I'll be moving into a one bedroom place ABOVE my friend's place, which is $400/month. And, the easiest landlord to get along with too. Things will only improve...
... especially since there's so much icky stuff happening now...

Oh... check out this site I'm making for Valerie. She's going to start writing a journal too. :)

BeZilla

Hehehe. I'm using BeZilla, the Mozilla (a.k.a. Netscape) port from Win32 to the BeOS Platform. On the most part, everything works fine -- html rendering is ... well... alright. Buttons and Controls (like text menues, buttons, and the like) are quite weird, and fonts are rather heavy. But, it definitly beats using NetPositive (which only supports HTML 3 code, or worse), and it DEFINITLY beats BeOpera. Val and I had a good day. I'm glad to know that she can relax, rest, and feel at peace in my company. Though, taking a visit to the place she was staying (I had mentioned it before) turned out for the worst, though the most damage was done to Val in a deep, emotional way. I can only be as supportive as I can, though. [more]

The Road To Christ

I'm reading a few books that Val lent me. "He Chose The Nails", by Max Lucado, which is a book about this man's life with Christ, and how I can relate. Also, "Every Day With Jesus", by Greg Laurie. This is a devotional book. Gerry also lent me "Questions Of Life", by Nicky Gumbel, which is considered a beginner's guide to a life with Christ. I'm certain to get a lot out of these books. As for a link of the day (I forgot to give one yesterday), you can learn about The Power To Change. [more]

No Trade

I got my system back from Laptop Central. When I brought it in on Friday, they hadn't taken a look at it all day -- so my system was just in their shop, busy being idle. I called a few times Friday, and by the end of the day, they still hadn't taken a look at it. Same story Saturday too, though the owner said he'd take a look at it after closing, Saturday. [more]
