Christianity

I felt the urge to discuss what I see as christianity. I don't know. It's something that has been on my mind lately.
Firstly, I am christian. I am Non-Catholic. I feel that how the catholic church has influenced most of society is unethical.
I have Lutheran tendencies, but cannot call myself a true Lutheran. I cannot even call myself a true Christian, really. I believe that Jesus shows me what I can choose in life, that through Him and the grace of God, I am saved. That is only the bottom line in which I believe. It goes deeper... [more]

Hey,
I was going to write in my journal earlier. I had come home from work early, I was so worried, because Val had checked herself out of the Kenora hospital. Then, she found herself with a traffic violation and back into the Dryden hospital (still not physically hurt). But... if I'd of written about that, the journal entry would be sad. Mmmm, sometimes, I feel like my life can easily be made into a made-for-tv-movie. I mean, there are so many weird part of my daily life that can be entertaining to others. I have neighbors that I have unique relationships with, people who don't really talk to me anymore but something about them come up from time to time, and... a girl... with whom I become closer to every day, even though she's far away now... Well, this article from ZDNet (again) explains why Microsoft wrestles with (the) new OS. Apparently, Microsoft Windows codenamed "BlackComb" will be delayed, and an interim release, code named "Longhorn" will follow after Windows XP. I think, near the bottom, there's a good, legal-related explaination for this too. [more]

Val's On A Trip

Hmm..

Val had to go for a trip today. She's off to Kenora maybe, perhaps further. I think she needs to relax and get away from it all for a bit. Which I can appreciate. I'm going to worry so much though, and I need to find something to get my mind off of it. But I don't know if I want to get my mind off of it... [more]

Grown Men Whine

I couldn't wait until Monday. After reading this ZD-Net news article posted a while back about Web-encrypted e-mail, I've come to the conclusion that, although PGP Security works for me, far too many people are too paranoid to really appreciate the uses. True, the author brings up very valid points... but if he would not sound so whiney while doing so, I'd actually appreciate what he had to say. [more]
